Project Description

  • South Star Energy Services provides energy-related services to residential and commercial customers receiving large volume of customer calls each day.​
  • To ensure effective customer service, South Star Energy Services needs to forecast their call volume and average handling time (AHT).
  • Forecasting call volume and AHT allows South Star to plan and allocate resources, such as staffing and technology, to meet customer needs, reduce wait times.
  • Implemented XGboost, Facebook Prophet, Sarimax to forecast next 4 months. Sarimax got better results with MAE of 2032 calls and 44 min AHT
